Below are our current service prices for Longarm quilting, along with optional services and personalization add-ons.

Price per square inch is calculated by finding out your length x width of your quilt top, and multiplying that by the price per square inch listed below. Example: If a quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches: 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.00
Open: lines spaced between 2.5 to 4 inches
Medium: offers a denser look with lines spaced 1.5 to 2.5 inches apart
Dense: usually less than 1.5 inches apart, resulting in a very filled-in look
We charge for batting by the linear inch from rolls of batting (60", 93", 108") and only use what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin). For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, we cut 65" of the batting of your choice from a 93" roll. (65" x $0.28 = $18.20)
Hobb's manufactured quilt batting 80% cotton and 20% poly - bleached white for light fabric, wide back 108" for queen/king. Priced per linear inch.
Hobb's manufactured quilt batting 80% cotton and 20% poly - natural fiber color, 96" Roll. Priced per linear inch.
Linda's Deluxe Cotton/Poly Blend Batting - 96" Roll - Made by Hobbs. 60 cotton/40 poly, 1/4 in loft, natural color. Priced per linear inch.
100% cotton, bamboo and wool batting available for special order in Hobb's and Quilter's Dream upon request.

Need to sew your 45 in wide fabrics together for backing? We can help! $10 per seam and up to 4 seams per backing.
Send your quilt top 'as is,' and we'll handle the press and prep! We'll iron your quilt top, trim stray threads, check seams and borders in our studio to save you time, and ensure your quilt top is perfectly prepared for quilting.
Want your top back nice and square after it's longarmed? We can help trim it down so when you receive your quilt, it's ready to bind.
Send your binding along with your quilt top and backing and I can sew it on the top by machine for you.
Send your binding along with your quilt top and backing and I can sew it on in full, giving you a bed ready quilt upon pick up.
Planning to use the left over backing for binding? I can take care of that in full also by making your binding, and sewing in on, giving you a bed ready quilt upon pick up.

Embroidered custom labels available in a variety of sizes and thread colors. Custom pricing based on word length, font, and thread color(s).
Do you want your quilt to be photographed on the beautiful Maine Coast? We have professional photographers who can take great pictures for you to document your beautiful quilt.
Your quilt top represents time, effort, skill, and love. We can help create a portfolio about your quilt, like an unofficial appraisal, to illustrate the value, with photographs to help leverage for gift giving and insurance purposes.
Payment is due on quilt pickup, or before quilt is mailed back to receipent.
Checks from local customers can be made out to Coastal Maine Quilts for the amount due on your final invoice. (Please note, check payment is not available for mail in customers)
Electronic payments can be made for the amount due on your final invoice.
All longarm projects will have an estimate confirmed before quilting begins. We promise, no surprises on the total cost of your quilt. There is a minimum charge of $50 for any longarm project due to setup time and machine complexity, but we’re happy to take on any size project. Select services and all products for sale will include Maine State sales tax.
