Longarm quilting involves using a specialized large machine to stitch intricate patterns and designs onto your quilt top, backing, and batting for a professional finish.
Ensure your quilt top, backing, and batting are clean, pressed, and free of loose threads. The backing and batting should be a minimum of 6 inches longer and 6 inches wider than your quilt top.
Standard turnaround is 2 weeks from when the quilt top is received. If schedule allows, rush services may be available for an additional fee. We’ll provide an estimated timeframe upon receipt.
Prices start at $0.025 per square inch. For more detailed information, please check out our Services & Price List.
To get a specific quote for your quilt top and start the process, simply fill out our Intake form. We're excited to help you bring your quilt to life!
You can mail your quilt, drop it off at the Coastal Maine Quilt Studio in Wells or Vinalhaven, or arrange a local meet-up. We're happy to accommodate your preferences!
